| Since going digital, our staff has been
comparing results with film. We are always bringing up things the digital cameras do
"as well as film," or even, "almost as well as film." Rarely is
anything mentioned that the digital camera does "better than film." But
just last January, I grabbed this shot of a rainbow in the midst of a downpour. We
were all fairly astonished at how well the digital image held up. Since then, I've
shot two more rainbows just to see if the first one was a fluke. It wasn't.
The digital actually captures these things better than film. Now if I can just find
that pot of gold. . . |
